Recently\, WCVB News reported that oil prices are likely to rise 31.3% this winter! What are our options? Are there alternatives to traditional fossil fuel systems that could actually save us money and deliver energy more efficiently? \nA number of Acton’s Clean Energy Coaches will try to answer your questions and concerns on Tuesday\, October 6th\, from 4:00–6:00PM at Rapscallion’s Covered Patio Area. Just stop by anytime during this “Clean Energy Hour\,” enjoy a free appetizer\, and chat with the coaches. The Clean Energy Coach Program provides unbiased\, free support to residents looking at clean energy transitions. It is run by the Town of Acton Sustainability Office with support from volunteer advocates\, including EnergizeActon.org volunteers. \nWe will have resources about multiple ways to save on energy in Massachusetts\, including state and Mass Save rebates on everything from heat pumps\, EVs\, EV charging\, solar\, efficient appliances\, and more; special utility programs (e.g. the winter heat pump discount rate and income eligible programs); and new “connected solutions” opportunities. \nAre you a current or prospective EV Driver?
